HOMAGE is a series of six books that explore how elements of past design movements can live in interior spaces today, enabling homeowners to create an homage to the past. By recognizing and appreciating past design movements, we gain historical context, inspiration, influence, continuity, tradition, critique, and evolution.
This series is a collection of 6 books, 22 key figures, 85 pieces of 20th-century furniture and decor, 248 pages, and over 500 hours of design and research. Each book is dedicated to a different design movement.
The books have a consistent layout, and every image and piece of text was carefully selected through extensive research. The color palette in each book is unique and reflects common interior design trends from the corresponding movement, featuring a combination of two colors.
This series of books aims to inspire homeowners to incorporate elements of past design movements into their homes while educating them about the history of each movement. Each book pays homage to a design movement by highlighting key figures, characteristics, furniture, and decor that define it.
