Chateau Avalon is a luxury boutique hotel and spa located in Kansas City's Legends District. Known for its one-of-a-kind themed suites, European-inspired architecture, and immersive guest experiences, the hotel blends romance, adventure, and luxury. With an on-site spa, event spaces, and distinctive accommodations, Chateau Avalon has become a destination for weekend getaways, weddings, and special celebrations.
Chateau Avalon partnered with me to lead a comprehensive brand refresh that better reflected the luxury, elegance, and unforgettable experience the hotel is known for. The goal was to create a visual identity that immediately communicated sophistication while honoring the property's distinctive character.
I modernized the hotel's signature shield logo, developed a refined color palette and typography system, and designed a collection of custom brand patterns inspired by the architectural details found throughout the property. To further reinforce the brand's storytelling, I created a series of custom illustrations featuring the iconic landmarks and legendary elements woven throughout the hotel's themed spaces. Together, these elements formed a cohesive identity that elevated the guest experience across both print and digital touchpoints.
